Simin villa projact
The main concept of the project was the combination of soft, slow-moving lines with sharp and edgy geometries—lines that gradually transform from gentle curves into cutting, angular forms. In essence, the project is the result of the simultaneous contrast and harmony between these two types of lines.
During the early design meetings, we learned that the client had an interest in martial arts, while the daughter of the family was a musician and artist. In order to balance the emotional character of the family, we translated the soft lines derived from the daughter’s artistic spirit into the sharp lines inspired by the father’s martial discipline.
The project was designed on a site of only 220 square meters. The ground floor area is less than 100 square meters, while the first floor has an area of only 125 square meters.
